Choosing the right swing set for your family starts with choosing the right fit for your yard. This guide walks you through everything you need to know, from measuring your space to selecting accessories and placing your order, so your Weaver Playset fits your space and your family perfectly.

Get to Know
Your Yard

Before you fall in love with a swing set model, make sure it will actually fit. We recommend following these steps to be sure your space is big enough for a swing set:

Yard

Start by choosing where in your yard you want the playset to go, then measure the length and width of that area. Every series and base model requires a different footprint, so those numbers are important!

  • We recommend allowing at least 6 feet of open space on all sides.

Does your yard have a slope? Playsets need a level surface for safety and stability. Minor slopes may be workable, but a steep incline may require us to block up the playset, which can impact the overall look and feel.

  • Weaver Playsets can handle a slope of up to 8" over 20', but anything steeper may require the area to be leveled before delivery.
  • NOTE: If you're eyeing a model from our Playhouse Series, you'll also need to make sure there's a 10-foot-wide access gate into your yard so our truck and trailer can deliver directly to the install site.

Consider delivery access to your desired location. Our team will deliver and install your playset, but we'll need a clear path to the site. Check for fences, landscaping, or tight spaces that might affect delivery and setup.

  • Most Weaver Playsets are delivered in about 4-6 weeks, but lead times can vary by season. Always contact your local dealer or reach out to us directly if you have questions about delivery timeframes.
